Dauntsey House Care Home is a purpose built care home for older people dedicated to providing a high standard of care to the elderly since 1983.
 
Residents come to the caring environment of Dauntsey House from widely varying religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Many of our residents are temporary guests while their family are on holiday or have had a minor accident and are unable to care for themselves. We also cater for permanent places within our house.  
 
The Care Home is situated in West Lavington on the A360 and is half an hour drive from Salisbury, it is also within easy reach of Bath and Marlborough. When visiting it is best to park in Duck Street and approach the house through the garden.
 
There is a local shop in West Lavington within 200 metres from Dauntsey House that sells all provisions that a resident may require e.g. stamps, toiletries, confectionary and snacks. There is also a bus stop close by with buses running to Salisbury and Devizes.
 
As well as having 19 bedrooms one which has an en-suite there are 4 bathrooms on the ground floor and 2 on the 1st There are toilets accessible to all on each floor.
On the Ground Floor there is a lounge, dining room, conservatory, and 4 bathrooms.
On the 1st Floor there are 2 bathrooms.
 
Externally there is a well tended garden for residents use.
 
The House has wifi internet coverage for use by the residents.

The Home is owned by Stephen Press and managed by Rayna Read.
 
Stephen Press has been working in the care business since he was 15 years old. He went on and qualified as a RGN and gained experience within the NHS as a Staff Nurse. He has also attained a Diploma in Management(DIPRSA).
Rayna Read our manager has a considerable amount of experience in adult home care and community care. Rayna started her Health and Social Care Journey back in 1997 and has worked in the sector ever since.
The home employs 21 members of staff which includes an Assistant Deputy Manager and 19 carers which were mostly recruited locally.
